Ron earned his Bachelors degree in education from Temple University in 1972 while playing fullback for four years for the Owls.  During his year of graduate studies earning his Masters of education in administration he also served as a backfield assistant under Hall of Fame football coach Wayne Hardin.  After his move to York in 1973, Ron served as vice principal of Spring Grove Junior High while also serving as the athletic director and offensive coordinator for the varsity football team that captured four straight county titles.

In 1983, Ron decided to make a career change and focus on money management and retirement planning, which has been his passion for the past 36 years.  His clients have included businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals to whom he has provided financial advice and planning during various stages of life.

Ron holds his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designationSM (CRPC®) from the College for Financial Planning® in addition to FINRA Series 7, 8, 9, 63, and 65 licenses held with LPL financial.  These licenses have enabled him to become a branch manager over seeing advisors at a large corporate firm, while continuing to provide exceptional service to his own clients.

In 2018, after working side by side with his son Ryan for 14 years in financial services, they decided to partner with broker/dealer LPL Financial to form their own independent wealth management firm that would enable them to focus their full attention on their client base.

Ron has been married to his wife Jan for 46 years.  She has been a teacher and professional musician, serving over 40 years as principal cellist of the York Symphony Orchestra.  They also have a daughter, Erin, living in Philadelphia who is a real estate entrepreneur.  Ron's favorite pastimes include boating, fishing, watching sports, and spending time with his four grandchildren.
